An 80-year-old man who lives near Hagerstown was found on Friday night, a day after he was last seen.

Maryland State Police said Edward McComas Knight, who lives on Downsville Pike, was found in Perry County, Pa., at about 10:10 p.m. Friday.

He was in good health and being taken to a hospital as a precaution, police said in a news release.

Police issued an alert Friday afternoon that Knight had been missing since Thursday.
