Hagerstown Police respond to incidents
The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents.
Thursday
• An assault was reported at Court Place and Antietam Street.
Tuesday
• Artwork was reported stolen in the unit block of South Prospect Street.
Monday
• At 1:01 p.m., a gym bag was reported found in the 100 block of Salem Avneue.
• At 1:30 p.m., Russo’s Pharmacy, 25 N. Cannon Ave., reported a fraudulent prescription. An arrest was made.
• At 3 p.m., an overdose was reported in the 1100 block of Professional Court.
• At 8:22 p.m., a purse was reported lost or stolen in the 500 block of West Franklin Street.
• A second-degree assault was reported on Little Elliot Drive.
• A burglary was reported in the unit block of Church Street.
• Damage to a glass door was reported in the 700 block of Maryland Avenue.
• Cosmetics were reported stolen in the 17000 block of Garland Groh Boulevard.
• Cash was reported stolen in the unit block of South Potomac Street.
• An iPod and Pooli sticks were reported stolen in the unit block of South Mulberry Street.
• A purse was reported stolen in the 12000 block of Little Elliot Drive.
Sunday
• At 5:35 p.m., a second-degree assault was reported in the 400 block of North Potomac Street.
• At 5:44 p.m., a second-degree assault was reported in the 400 block of West Washington Street. An arrest was made.
• At 1:15 p.m., an injured person was reported in the 100 block of South Prospect Street.
Pa. State Police respond to Franklin Co. incidents
Pennsylvania State Police responded to the following recent incidents:
Nov. 3 — The theft of two iPods from the library at Greencastle-Antrim High School at 300 S. Ridge Ave. was reported. An arrest was made.
Nov. 13 — Nine chain saws valued at about $6,000 were reported stolen in the 18000 block of Dry Run Road.
Monday, Nov. 16 — Two street signs at East Pittman and Laurel Ridge roads were reported damaged and graffiti on a bridge was reported on Laurel Ridge Road in Thompson Township.
