During October, students were recognized for the Character Counts! trait of respect at Hickory Elementary School.

Students and families were invited to school for a "pinning ceremony," which included certificates, pencils and erasers, followed by ice cream sundaes and family bingo.

Honored students included Tanner Stottlemyer, Deacon Gossard, Shelby Hoflich, Aleya Bullard, Danielle Howlett, Thomas Haws, Noah Baker, Jacob Smith, Justin Ahmadian, Kelli Price, Camiren Nazelrod, Jaden Brady, Noah Likely, Aly Cosiem, Lucas Litten and Shannon Magnis.
