City Hospital

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Amanda Butler, RN, a staff nurse on the sixth floor at City Hospital, recently was named the hospital's first Quality Service Award winner.

Each month, the hospital's Service Award Committee will select an employee to receive the Quality Service Award. Butler, who was nominated by a patient's family, was selected from 54 candidates.

Criteria for selection include demonstrating a consistently high level of productivity and quality of work along with a high degree of initiative in performing work responsibilities; displaying exceptional dependability; exhibiting effective relationships with others; displaying a commitment to service and serving the City Hospital community; and meeting the criteria for WVU Hospitals-East mission, vision and values.

Love & Company

FREDERICK, Md. - Tom Devinney recently was hired as director of senior living marketing at Love & Company.

Devinney will oversee the implementation of Love & Company's sales management and sales training programs.

Devinney has more than 12 years of sales and marketing experience in the senior living field, including stints at Senior Lifestyle Corp. and Peninsula United Methodist Homes. He has an extensive background in census and revenue development, product pricing, promotional and event planning, and management of community advertising campaigns.

Devinney, a native of West Chester, Pa., received his education from Delaware County (Pa.) Community College and Temple University in Philadelphia.

Power Marketing & Advertising LLC

Shannon Hotchkiss recently joined the staff of Power Marketing & Advertising LLC as director of business development.

Before joining Power Marketing & Advertising, Hotchkiss' experience in the building industry included sales and marketing management, consulting and market research. She is as a member of the Marketing Committee for the National Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders, and holds the MIRM and CSP designations from the same organization. Before entering the real estate industry, she worked in nonprofit management and public relations.

Hotchkiss has a bachelor of science degree from the University of South Florida.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - David Dick recently was hired as site manager at the Allison-Antrim Museum.

Dick, of Chambersburg, Pa., previously worked in the North Middleton (Pa.) Township maintenance department. He also was fire chief of the North Middleton Township Volunteer Fire Co.

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Paul Gunder, Joan Sidoli and Karen Stewart of the Waynesboro office of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA recently were recognized for excellent performance in October.

The decision was based on the number of new listings, sales and referrals; attendance at real estate meetings and workshops; and customer satisfaction reports.

Digital Bard Video Productions

FREDERICK, Md. - Morag Reid recently joined the staff of Digital Bard Video Productions.

Reid originally is from Scotland and has a diploma in graphic design and illustration from Telford College in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Reid has worked in the nonprofit sector as a patron services director for more than 10 years and most recently as a database administrator for Imagination Stage in Bethesda, Md.

Reid is pursuing a degree in Web design and interactive media from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh's online division.
