Grand opening is held for Amish Sheds and Gift Shoppe

The grand opening of Amish Sheds and Gift Shoppe was held Nov. 3 at the business at 701A Dual Highway in Hagerstown.

The business is owned by Vanessa Moore, who has been a business owner in the Washington County area for more than 11 years.

Among those attending the grand opening were Hagerstown Mayor Robert E. Bruchey II; Brien J. Poffenberger, president of the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce; Tom Riford, president and CEO of the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau; Art Callaham, executive director of the Greater Hagerstown Committee; and Jack Hershey, former senior vice president of Ferris Baker Watts Inc.

Moore's family members, friends and others in the community also attended.

Amish Sheds and Gift Shoppe provides a wide range of Amish-made sheds, gazebos, carports and pergolas. It also sells gift items such as gourd birdhouses.
