Halfway rolls past Valley

The Halfway Little League 9-10 All-Stars defeated Valley 20-5 on Friday in the Maryland District 1 Tournament.

Ryan Downs hit three solo home runs for Halfway. Donnie Travis had four hits and four RBIs, Bryce Ruppenthal had three hits, including a home run, and three RBIs, and Gooden and Jordan Wood each had two hits and two RBIs.

For Valley, Andrew Mathias doubled and Dylan Eyler drove in a run.
